About HEP
Build a business that moves when you don’t.
Most founder-led businesses stall at a predictable inflection point, when the operating model of the past becomes the bottleneck of the future.
That is not a leadership flaw. It is an operating design problem.
HEP was built to correct that moment. Not with general advice, but with structural intervention. HEP works with founders to diagnose the constraints, redesign the process flow, and install the systems required for your next business leap.
The goal: a company that functions without consuming the person who built it.
I build systems so you don't have to be the system.
I spent the first 15 years of my career inside complex operating environments where failure wasn't an option. Leading engineering, commercial, and cross-functional execution across large-scale assets and multi-million-dollar infrastructure.
In those environments, I learned that high performance isn’t driven by personality, it’s designed. It requires clear decision rights, defined authority, and disciplined systems. Results follow structure.
When I began working with founders, I saw a different reality: capable leaders carrying invisible operational weight. Your business works, but often only because of your constant involvement. You aren't slowing down because you lack strategy; you are slowing down because of decision congestion.
I built HEP to fix that inflection point.
I work directly with founders to diagnose constraints, redesign your decision flow, and install a durable operating system. My goal is simple: to build a company that moves without consuming the person who created it.
The HEP Promise:
Temporary by design.
Durable by structure.
Engineered to scale.

The Operator Behind HEP

Operating Principles
HEP is built on four principles:
Structure Before Optimization
Fix the operating model before improving tasks.
Execution Over Theory
Systems that run matter more than strategy decks.
Surgical Scope
Install only what is necessary.
Independence as the Outcome
The business should not require ongoing reliance from HEP.
Most fractional COO models optimize for ongoing engagement.
HEP optimizes for structural durability.
What That Means for Founders
When the structure is right, the business stops being a weight you carry and starts being a vehicle you drive.
-
Decisions Move Without You: Your team has the authority and context to act without a 2:00 PM check-in.
-
Execution is Mechanical: Growth is no longer a result of heroic effort; it is a predictable output of your operating system.
-
The Founder Shift: You finally exit the "day-to-day" weeds to focus on high-leverage strategy. You cease being the primary operator and finally become the Architect.
The HEP Engagement
We don't add to your "to-do" list; we remove the obstacles that created them.
We start with a high-impact diagnostic to find your primary constraint.
